The following obeservations can be seen when analyzing the distribution of the housing stock by number of rooms in Cobb county and the state of Georgia:

1. The number of homes with less than 3 rooms for both Cobb county and the state of Georgia is approximately 8.5% of the total housing stock.
2. 13.2% of the total housing stock of Cobb county has 4 rooms in the house as compared to 14.5% statewide.
3. 15.9% of the total housing stock of Cobb county has 5 rooms in the house as compared to 21.25 in the state of Georgia.
4. When it comes to houses with 6 rooms - 16.6% of all the houses in Cobb county fall into this category. For the state of Georgia this number is 19.5%.
5. Likewise in the case of homes with 7 rooms - in Cobb county theses homes are 12.7% of the total as compared to 13.5% statewide.
6. The number of home with 8 rooms in Cobb county are 12.3% of the total as compared to 9.6% statewide.
7. And finally, homes with more than 9 rooms are 20.9% of all homes in Cobb county as compared to only 13.1% statewide.

Since bathrooms are also included in this count of rooms, it is fairly easy to assume that there are more smaller homes in Georgia than in Cobb county, where it is clear that the homes with 8 and 9 or more rooms comprise a much higher percentage of the total housing stock, than they do in the state of Georgia.
