GPA is a a non-profit organization created to provide Georgia Plumbers’ with education and resources of changing Codes. Georgia Licensing requirements for plumbers require 4 hours of continuing education be obtained each year for license renewal. The mission of the Indiana Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (IAPHCC) is to advance member success by enhancing professionalism through education and training, and to provide leadership for the industry. The Indiana association was formed in 1897. Up to four years in apprenticeship is required to become a licensed journeyman. An additional two years working for a licensed contractor is required in order to take the state examination to qualify for a contractor license.
