IEC of Texas has over 400 electrical contractor members in Texas, with local chapters in Central Texas (Austin), Dallas, East Texas (Tyler), El Paso, Ft. Worth/Tarrant County, Lubbock, Texas Panhandle (Amarillo), San Antonio, Texas Gulf Coast (Houston), Texoma (Wichita Falls), and West Texas (Midland). Their mission is to provide benefits for membership growth and legislative representation through education and communication; strengthening the members of IEC of Texas.

The Intermountain Chapter serves Utah and Western Slope of Colorado. Association member-firms are electrical contractors serving their communities in Salt Lake City, Provo, Ogden, Logan, Grand Junction and other cities. Chartered in 1945, the Intermountain Chapter of NECA has served its members and the electrical contracting industry for more than 63 years. Their objectives are to provide educational opportunities for electrical contractors to help them remain profitable in an extremely competitive business, to promote effective, and harmonious labor-management relations and to represent, promote, and advance the interests of its electrical contractor members.

Founded in 1957, the Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. is a trade association for merit shop electrical and systems contractors. IEC believes in developing and fostering a stronger economy through the level of quality and services our members provide to the industry. The Utah Electrical JATC is a nonprofit organization that is jointly sponsored by the Intermountain Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association and Local Union 354 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The joint apprenticeship and training committee is made up of eight members. Four members represent management and four members represent labor. It is the responsibility of the Utah Electrical JATC to provide training to the apprentices and journeymen in the organized electrical industry for the entire state of Utah.

Founded in 1961, members of AGC/VT are general contractors, equipment and material suppliers, insurance companies, bonding firms, financial institutions, consultants and other businesses and individuals connected to the construction industry. Its objectives are to provide advocacy services for members and the industry at large on legislation under consideration at the Vermont Legislature and the Federal Congress and advocate for members regarding public policy creation and changes before Vermont and Federal rule making bodies.
