The mission of Atlanta Chapter IEC is to provide education, training, networking and business support services that increase the success opportunities for independent electrical contractors. Established in 1965, the Atlanta Chapter is celebrating it's 50th year in 2015 and currently has nearly 90 contractor members and 70 partner members in the Atlanta metro area. Nationally, there are over 3,000 members with 55 chapters.

The Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association, Atlanta Chapter NECA has been serving the electrical industry in Georgia since 1929. Local and national developers, owners, architects and engineers recognize NECA as the leading electrical trade association in the industry. NECA has also achieved the title "Spokesman For the Electrical Industry" from governments on local and national levels. The Idaho Chapter, NECA works closely with IBEW Local Union 449 in Pocatello to sponsor our Eastern JATC (Eastern Idaho, Twin Falls/Sun Valley area), and IBEW Local Union 291 (Boise Valley) to sponsor our Southwest JATC. Combined, the programs have well over 200 aspiring electricians at various stages of apprenticeship. The programs meet the strict requirements of both the NJATC and the State of Idaho's Bureau of Apprenticeship Training.
