In January of 1996, the South Dakota Restaurant Association merged with the South Dakota Retailers Association. That merger resulted in the formation of the Hospitality Division of the South Dakota Retailers Association. Nearly 800 restaurants, hotels, motels, resorts, campgrounds, bed and breakfasts, coffee shops, bars and tourist attractions are members of the SDRA Hospitality Division. Through the Hospitality Division, food service and lodging establishments can participate in programs designed to meet their special needs, while taking advantage of the full range of SDRA member services.

The Tennessee Hospitality Association (TnHA) represents the interests of Tennessee’s lodging and dining establishments and the related businesses involved in the hospitality industry. The hospitality/travel industry is the second largest in Tennessee with annual direct spending exceeding $14.2 billion. In 2008, the federal, state, and local tax collections from domestic travel exceeded $3 billion dollars.

It is the mission of the Texas Restaurant Association to serve as the advocate in Texas and indispensable resource for the hospitality and foodservice industry. The local chapters of the Texas Restaurant Association (TRA) provide opportunities for members to meet and discuss issues of local interest. Chapters host meetings and events to raise awareness of critical issues impacting the Texas food service industry. Ther Vermont Restaurant Association does not have it's own website. In order to obtain more information about the restaurant business in Vermont, you will have to contant the hospitality division of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.
