Business formation in South Dakota

In South Dakota the mission of the Corporations Division of the South Dakota Secretary of States' office is to efficiently and accurately process and maintain corporate documents and to provide courteous and friendly one-on-one assistance to corporate owners as well as the public. Both non-profit and for-profit corporations must be registered with the secretary of state's office.
