Business formation in New Jersey

In order to incorporate a business in New Jersey you have to get in touch with the Division of Commercial Recording and the New Jersey Department of Treasury.  All businesses must "Register for Tax and Employer Purposes" with the New Jersey Division of Revenue, regardless if they plan on collected sales tax or having employees.  The State of New Jersey has an excellent online presence that lets business owners conduct most of their transactions online.  For detailed information on how to conduct business as a Sole Proprietor, General Partnership, Limited Partnership, Limited Liability Partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation or Limited Liability Company we recommend that you get in touch with this office.
