Business Plan Writing Process

At Trident Consultants we know that when a client is looking for a business plan they are looking for more than just a few pages of information. Our clients are looking for a blueprint for their future operations - a business plan that will help them understand their marketplace and help them succeed.

Thus every business plan written by us begins with a detailed consultation with our clients about the nature of their business, the products and services offered by them, the nuances of their particular operations, the unique strengths and weaknesses that they posses when compared to their competition, an understanding of their financial picture and where they see things in the next three years. Also discussed are the backgrounds of the management team and a web strategy if one should apply to the business

After consultation, we begin the process of crafting a business plan for our client. Our goal is always to create a plan that can be used for:

  1. Securing financing from conventional lenders like large and small banking institutions.

  2. Presenting to potential private lenders including family and friends and venture capitalists.

  3. Sent to prospective business partners including large buyers of your product or large sellers who may look to finance their sales to you themselves.

4. Internal use for management and employees where the business plan serves as a template and roadmap for on-going operations.

Our research analysts begin the process of getting all the pertinent data about your business, the market place and demographics together. The financial analyst starts putting together the financial projections which go into the pro-forma financial statements that are part of our business plan.

Once the data sets for your business plan are ready, we begin the process of compiling all the graphs, charts and financial tables that go into the plan. The narrative is the last part of the business plan writing process; our writers start writing the story of your business based on all the data, charts, graphs and financials projections that have been laid out by the analysts.

After completion the plan goes to the review desk and then is sent out to our printers for professional printing, binding and mailing.
