2.1  Company Ownership

A Taste of Tuscany is the name of our restaurant that we are currently in the process of launching.  The operating company for our restaurant is A Taste of Tuscany Inc, a C corporation incorporated in the State of New York in February of 2008. We are two partners who each own 50% of the shares of A Taste of Tuscany Inc. – Jack Gordon and Carmen Hernandez.  Together we own 100% of the shares in A Taste of Tuscany Inc. and we will be both managing partners in the operations as well.  We are both citizens of the United States.

2.2  Start up Summary

A Taste of Tuscany is a full service restaurant that will be opening in the City of White Plains, New York in November of 2008.  Offering homes style Italian cooking in an old world setting we plan on giving our clientele a taste of an authentic Italian meal.

2.3  History

While a Taste of Tuscany is a new restaurant, both the founder Jack Gordon and Carmen Hernandez have had extensive experience in the restaurant business.  Some of Jack and Carmen’s old colleagues will be joining them in this venture

2.4  Start up Funding

A Touch of Tuscany will be a full service restaurant and as like others in our line of work, starting a new full service restaurant will require a solid commitment of capital.  We have determined that the following will be the costs to start up our restaurant:

As can be seen from our estimate of start up costs above, the vast majority of investments have to be made in fixed capital expenses which will be amortized over the use of the restaurant.  Care has been taken to include good quality labor and materials for our project since we believe that ambience is an essential part of the dining experience especially given that our clientele will comprise of middle to upper middle class customers of Westchester County, NY.  It is our belief that having the correct ambience will set us aside from our competitors and will earn A Touch of Tuscany a unique name amongst dining establishments in the county.
